Multi-platform technology MAUI helped in the concurrent development for both Android and iOS, but initially posed some risk. It was not in the final version and had limited documentation and community. The final app has 95 percent identical code for both platforms.
How is sensitive user data secured?
At 2023 industry standards. For example:
- Encrypted connection of mobile apps to platform servers (https)
- Careful and secure handling of login credentials (hash algorithms and tokens)
- Use of encrypted storage on mobile phones
(according to Apple and Google standards)
The user is also often interested in how it is ensured that no one opens the app on their phone and reads the intimate data of the relationship (e.g. mother-in-law, children, work colleague). Therefore, we implemented an app lock that is activated, for example, when there is prolonged inactivity or when the app is reopened. You can then unlock the app using, for example, FaceID or TouchID. In justified cases, re-login is also required using the chosen username and password or a selected 3rd party (AppleID, Facebook, Google) to ensure that users’ data is maximally protected and they feel comfortable entrusting their Coupleguard Couplia with it.
